Dr. Greg Stockbridge grew up in Westmoreland, a small town in Upstate New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Brockport State University, just outside of Rochester, New York. He then attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, where he graduated with his Doctorate of Optometry.

After graduating, Dr. Stockbridge moved to Kansas City to complete a hospital-based residency focusing on ocular disease management and low vision rehabilitation. He then moved to Virginia Beach where he practiced with an ophthalmology group and eye care center for several years before relocating to Cary, NC.

In 2007, Dr. Stockbridge graduated from the Duke University MBA program. He is happily married to Ashley Stockbridge, a past kindergarten teacher at Middle Creek Elementary School who is now working full time to raise their 2 wonderful children, Ashton and Ainsley. They attend Hope Community Church and enjoy traveling and exploring new places. In addition to family time, he enjoys carpentry work, exercising, real estate and economics. Dr. Stockbridge now serves patients at the Smithfield and Holly Springs locations of Clarity Vision.
