Dr. Mao Yang graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and later earned her Doctor of Optometry with clinical honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia. Her clinical rotations included Womack Medical Army Center in Fort Bragg, NC, Ralph Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Charleston, SC, The Feinbloom Low Vision Center in Philadelphia, PA, and the Global Vision Rehabilitation Center in Miami, FL. After graduation, she completed residency in Ocular Disease and Low Vision at the Lexington Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Kentucky. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crafting, and playing board games. She happily resides in Raleigh with her husband and enjoys visiting the various parks in the triangle.
